priorities
affordable housing
Our priority is increasing affordable housing units in our communities for better outcomes. We just secured state tax relief for supportive housing on Murphy Avenue. By working to close Nuisance Abatement Hearings in 30 days, we can keep our neighborhoods community-owned and affordable.
education
We are finally going to fully fund our kids' schools. We just voted for the public awareness campaign for computer science education. By amplifying the voices of the young community leaders, their magnanimous contributions to the state of Georgia can be heard!
health care access
It is imperative that we protect and increase access to quality affordable healthcare. We modeled the language for the Georgia Department of Public Health clinic protocols on HIV and secured funding for linkage to care. By voting to fund work in maternal health disparities in Georgia, we all succeed.
