biography
district 48
florida
state representative, incumbent
As a former healthcare worker, I know firsthand that people can’t afford to get sick. I understand doing what’s best for us means affordable healthcare so working families don’t have to choose between life-saving medication and paying for rent. And as a mother, doing what’s best for our children means teaching to a child’s potential not a test. Tallahassee is out of touch – it isn’t doing what’s best for us and it’s time we fix that. That is why I am asking for your votes, your prayers, and your support.
priorities
our economy
"I want to ensure that America has a world class education system by returning to some founding principles like recognizing that Public Education is the cornerstone of our society, and create a strong Department of Education that gives the states the tools they need to meet our primary mission of educating the next generation of Americans."
education
Our children deserve a fully funded education that considers their learning potential, not a state-mandated test.
health care
Our families deserve accessible and affordable healthcare, so that they do not have to make life threatening decisions between care and food.
